Portucalio is a handcrafted calendar from Portugal with original designs by Pedro Silva and maintained by Veronika Horská. For travelers, tourists, adventurers from any nation, Portucalio is a perfect souvenir to receive or a lovely gift to give.
Why Portucalio came to existence
Our adventure starts with a need to express our love for Portugal and feed the nostalgia for those splendid scenes and its lovely language. That being said, the fact that Portucalio is a series of calendars wasn‘t decided by chance it was instead, the result of our constant countdown for our vacations where we would strike each and every day till our arrival to Portuguese lands.
The motivation to go further with the idea just got stronger when we realized how difficult is to find calendars with Portuguese motifs, or with any motifs for that matter, especially made and/or sold in Portugal. Thus you, dear reader, can find us, here and now living, at last, our dream. So hopefully, you too can start this joyful countdown by having Portucalio on your wall.
The team behind Portucalio is actually quite small, 2 people to be more precise :). Pedro and Veronika. A Portuguese and a Czech that fell in love in and with Portugal 8 years ago.
