May, coffee time
May, a cup of coffee, please! ☕️ wow this month was so free in essence but so packed in activities. It was conference month and looking at Portucalio always helped us to plan our things out and to never forget to get our daily dose of them precious beans during our stay in Saarbrücken, Germany:)
Libre Graphics Meeting
or LGM, it was an awesome get-together! Being able to talk with fellow designers, artists and get to know the people behind the tools we use — developers and contributors — was a rewarding experience. Whether we were in workshops, talks or just having casual conversations it was definitely lot’s of fun and we enjoyed every minute of it.
What’s LGM?
Well, it’s an exciting event where libre graphics folks get together to discuss and learn from each other experiences.
The Libre Graphics Meeting (LGM) is an annual international convention for the discussion of free and open source software used with graphics. The first Libre Graphics Meeting was held in March 2006. LGM 2019 is taking place from May 29 to June 2 in Saarbruecken, Germany. We are happy to welcome you in Saarbruecken at the Franco-German border and make you discover Europe in a nutshell!

There is so much things to talk about that we probably will be doing so in another blog post dedicated just for all the projects and all its advancements that we had the opportunity to discover at LGM this year. Meanwhile you can check our social media posts:

And now, as usually, our month of today: May
The warm background to represent how cozy and welcomed you feel in any cafe in Portugal. Perspective from the top, from who drinks and shares the table. Taking coffee is a Portuguese habit for talking with friends and even strangers and more often than not accompanied by a cinnamon stick, used to stir and give aroma to this delicious drink.
